Travertines - More beautiful with time
Travertine is a type of calcareous stone quarried in various parts of the world, such as Italy, Turkey and Iran.
It has a strong presence of large and small pores and faint horizontal veins.
Its unique appearance makes it highly appealing among architects in many constructions such as external facades of buildings, interior wall cladding, floor coverings and other special constructions.
Time seems to favor the appearance of Travertine, in contrast to many other natural materials, which seem "age" more. This type of stone has the ability to become even more beautiful and this is proven through the historical monuments made by Travertine, such as the Colosseum in Rome, Hierapolis in Turkey, the Basilica of Sacre-Coeur in Montmartre and many more.
Its color ranges from light beige (Romano) to warm grey / brown (SIlver).
At Stonetech you will find several options available in Travertino such as Classico, Medium, and Silver, but upon special order, we can supply you with all the other colors too.
