A unique floor from marble and granite composition

The floor in VVIP Villas of Domes Miramare is one of the projects we have enjoyed the most. Its success came from the passion for our work, the love for marble, and the deep know-how and experience on the difficult compositions.

Two different categories of materials were used for the beautiful flooring, marble, and granite. More specifically, the very small triangular pieces are made of Azul Macaubas and Azul Bahia granites and Sivec and Bianco Carrara marbles.

This is a construction with high requirements due to the very small dimensions of the parts that make up the floor. One of the biggest challenges was the cutting precision, giving sharp corners to each piece, without breaking the edge, both during production and assembly process.

Another demanding aspect of this application was the cutting and the assembly of two categories of natural stones, with different characteristics and hardness, marble and granite.

This type of composition in floorings is rare, as the degree of difficulty is very high.
